As many of you know, Jack McManus was a remarkable leader and a cherished member of our Georgetown community. His contributions to both our town and the Georgetown Business Association were extraordinary, leaving a lasting legacy that we continue to celebrate.

In addition to his professional success with Promotional Outfitters, Jack was deeply committed to King’s Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta, Georgia. The McManus family was one of 125 founding families of the school, and Jack played a pivotal role in many of its early milestones. Serving as the Athletic Association President and a Board member, Jack organized the school’s first golf tournament, increased attendance at basketball games, and established the tailgating experience for football—a tradition that continues to bring joy to students and families today. Jack understood that building a strong, supportive community was essential to the school’s mission, and he dedicated himself to making that vision a reality.

After 25 years in Alpharetta, Jack and his wife Kristina moved to Georgetown, where he continued to leave his mark as President of the Georgetown Business Association. Jack’s passion for community building was evident in his active engagement in our local events.

To honor Jack’s memory and his unwavering commitment to education and community, the GBA Board has pledged a $1,000 donation to King’s Ridge Christian School. We invite all GBA members to join us in contributing to a school that was so close to Jack’s heart. Your donation will help continue the legacy Jack worked so hard to build, ensuring that his spirit of leadership, community, and service lives on.  To further incentivize our members, the GBA Board has approved a 1:1 matching on contributions, up to an additional $1,500 cap.  We will continue to take contributions through September 30, 2024.

If you would like to contribute, please make your donation below.

Let us come together to honor Jack’s legacy by supporting the place that meant so much to him. Your generosity will help continue the community spirit and leadership that Jack worked so hard to foster.  Thank you for your support.
