Georgetown County Historical Society
The purpose of this Society is to preserve and promote the history of Georgetown County from its origins to the present for the benefit of the public by collecting and preserving historical information and artifacts, by operating a museum that houses and displays these materials and serves as an information resource, by providing educational programs and sponsoring and producing publications that increase public awareness of our heritage.
